Zkamenělý zámek – 8 km – preserved nature monument; a rock reminding a ruin of a castle; remains of the 6th century settlement
Čtyři palice – 8 km – nature reserve; rocks in an original fir-beech wood
Polička – 8 km – royal dowry town with the well-preserved 1220 m long fortification; neogothic church of St. James – in its donjon a birth room of world famous Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů; baroque town hall; a unique plague column; Festival Polička 555 covering various cultural fields in August; Buhuslav Marinů Festival; a roofed swimming pool; a natural swimming pool; minigolf; tennis courts; walls for rock climbers; ski tows; ice-hockey stadium
Karlštejn – 9 km – rocoque hunting castle of the family of Kinsky, 783 m above sea level
Svratka – 10 km – town with the folk architecture, a birthplace of several painters; a golf field; skating stadium; ski tow with artificial snow
Milovské perničky – 10 km – nature reserve; three rocks with a dip on each of the peaks; myths give them various geneses and purpose
České Milovy – 10 km – traditional recreational resort with a lovely pond; hire of boats; minigolf
Buchtův kopec – 10 km – peak 810 m above sea level with an outlook of the region of Jimramov; one of the three Czech flight control towers is situated here; Masaryk´s sanatorium for long-term ill people
Jimramov – 12 km – renaissance castle with the park from 16th century; folk architecture; gothic church of Nativity of St. Mary; birthplace of Czech writers Jan Karafiát and the Mrštíkovi brothers; jazz festival in the castle park in August
Toulovcovy maštale – 14 km – nature reserve; rock formation of various shapes; Dudychova grot open to the public; Toulovcova lookout; many tours for hikers and cyclists
Devět skal – 14 km – the highest peak of Žďárské vrchy (836 m above sea level); nature reserve; the largest rock complex on Bohemian – Moravian highlands; a lookout an the top
Štarkov – 14 km – ruins of a castle from 14th century
Nové Hrady – 18 km – rocoque castle; baroque chapel; ruins of a castle from the hussite period
Předhradí – 18 km – castle Rychnburk from 13th century, reconstructed in 16th century
Žákova hora – 19 km – 810 m above sea level; nature reserve with the original fir – beech primeval forest; „silver“ spring; European water parting
Dalečín – 20 km – ruins of a gothic castle from 13th century
Vírská přehrada – 23 km – the biggest water reservoir in the area with the third highest dam in Czech republic (76 m)
Veselý kopec u Hlinska – 25 km – open air folk museum of Vysočina; the most visited place in Vysočina!
Svojanov – 27 km – gothic castle from 13th century, with a tall cylinder tower, which serves as a lookout; renewed castle park; culture programs in summer
Litomyšl – 30 km – the town is a historical sights reserve; renaissance castle on the list of UNESCO; birthplace of the Czech national composer Bedřich Smetana; festivals and concerts during the whole year
Žďár nad Sázavou – 33km – baroque castle in possession of the family of Kinsky; church of St. Jan of Nepomuk on Zelená hora from 18th century, built by G. Santini, enlisted in UNESCO; several ponds
Pernštejn – 36km – gothic castle built in 13th century; one of the most well-preserved castles, never being redeveloped; one of the most important Czech historical sights
